The Pantego Christian Academy Guidance department assists our staff and students in fulfilling the mission of the school.  At the senior high level, students are guided in selecting their academic program to fulfill graduation requirements, prepare for and apply to colleges, and manage their academic coursework. The counseling staff meets with students and families and works in cooperation with the faculty and school leadership to plan effectively and prepare efficiently.

News and Events

Seniors - be sure to report all acceptances and scholarships to Mrs. Kulpa.  Any documentation communicating the college and the senior’s name will suffice... we want to celebrate you!!


Here are some documents for parents and students to complete:

FERPA FORM (For PCA to be able to send your transcripts/recommendation letters - signed by student and parent in both places and give to Mrs. Kulpa)

PARENT BRAG SHEET - If a college requires a counselor recommendation letter (ie., TCU), this helps Mrs. Kulpa write a personal letter. You don't have to fill it all out, just do your best.

FAFSA4caster  Opens October 1 to file (Free Application for Federal Student Aid - a requirement for some merit scholarships, too). On the home page, bottom right is the FAFSA4caster that allows you to see what you may be eligible for. (See image) - NCAA clearing house, $80 fee, do ASAP and tell Mrs. Kulpa so she can upload your junior year transcript


All grades 9-12th SHOULD make a RaiseMe account. Students/Parents can fill out a profile and start earning micro-scholarships for grades, taking the PSAT, community service, athletics, activities... 

All grades K-12 can do scholarships on this link, updated monthly.

A list of extra scholarships can be found here. A binder filled other scholarships will be available in Mrs. Smith’s office (outside of Mrs. Kulpa’s office).

Paschal Summer PSAT/SAT/ACT Prep Course

Paschal High School in Fort Worth offers a great prep course for PSAT/SAT/ACT in the summer. Registration is now open. Please note that they are now offering an ACT session available.  It is session 2.  If you have any questions call their office, 817.814.5041.

  • Session 1: PSAT/SAT Monday – Thursday: June 10-June 20
  • Session 2: ACT Monday – Thursday: July 8-18
  • Session 3: PSAT/SAT Monday – Thursday: July 22-August 1

All Sessions run from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30.

Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD)

Saturday, March 30th @ 10:00am—Hotel Zaza in Dallas, TX

Take part in a general admission presentation to learn about SCAD's innovative academic programs, art and design career options, and admission requirements. Following the admission presentation, engage in a preview workshop led by a SCAD professor. Students also can participate in a Q-and-A session with admission representatives or meet representatives one-on-one.

Mississippi State University Preview Day

March 25th
Join us for Spring Preview Day as the trees along Old Main Plaza begin to bloom and campus begins to buzz as graduation draws near. Preview Days are designed to highlight all aspects of student life on campus from academic possibilities and residence halls to student organizations and facilities. Registration is $10 per person and includes a t-shirt, lunch, and our famous homemade ice cream. Pre-registration is required, and spots are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

June 8-15, 2019

The Division of Multidisciplinary Programs at Stephen F. Austin State University is pleased to announce its annual Pre-Law Academy, an innovative, week-long program that introduces high school sophomores, juniors and seniors to the exciting legal profession. Students selected for participation in this program will:

  • explore options for undergraduate study
  • interact with top judges and attorneys from all over Texas
  • gain first-hand information from law school admission counselors
  • explore career options in the legal profession
  • conduct a mock crime scene investigation
  • and compete in a mock trial competition.

SFA’s Pre-Law Academy is the only program of its type open to high school students who are currently in their sophomore, junior and senior year.  Scholarships are available.

Join high school prospective students for a full day exploring Oklahoma University and seeing everything they offer!

Oklahoma State University's event exclusively for high school juniors will be here in a few short months! OSU Junior Day is Saturday, April 13. Students can learn more at this link. Registration will open soon.

Tulsa's OSU Center for Health Sciences will open its campus doors to high school students on Wednesday, March 27 from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.

This event will feature all academic units on their campus, including College of Osteopathic Medicine, School of Forensics, biomedical, healthcare administration, and athletic training. Participants choose from a number of health workshops such as a mock medical lecture, healthy lifestyle and rural health.

Lunch is provided free of charge, but space is limited.
Buses will run from Stillwater, Tahlequah and Ada.
