2016 Panther Pride Dance Team

Dance

The Pantego Pride Dance Team is a creative performance squad of dancers from 7th-12th grade.  The Pride Dance team practices year round, focusing on numerous dance disciplines and performs at all HS football games, and pep rallies in the fall.  The team also competes in a regional competition event and wraps up the season with a Spring Show. The team’s goal is to work weekly on developing technique as well as cleaning and preparing for their performance routines.  The Pride team also has bible studies, parties and often volunteers at community events throughout the year.  The team prides itself on a family atmosphere where our girls rely on each other to bring out the best in each other through good role models and Godly influence in all they do.

Lane Rhodes is the Director for the PCA Pride Dance Team and a Middle School Technology Instructor.  She is a graduate of Texas Christian University, with a Bachelors of Science in Political Science and a certification in Secondary Education. She has previously taught at Sam Houston High School and was the Admissions Director at a Park Row Christian Academy. Lane brings an extensive background in dance education, having been instrumental in the development of the dance program in Arlington ISD, directing teams that earned 20 National Team Titles, 500 Regional Titles, 3 National Solo Champions, and 8 National Runners-Up.  She is passionate about creating a dance program for PCA that will use each dancer's gifts to glorify God.
