Dance Team Coach
Chloe Ryer has been performing on stage and in the community for 22 years and has been teaching jazz and ballet at Miss Persis Studio of Dance for the past six years. She graduated in 2015 from PCA, where she led the Panther Pride Dance Team as captain and the Panther Band as a section leader. She graduated three years later from Dallas Baptist University, with a Bachelor of Business Studies, concentrating in hotel/hospitality management and communications. At DBU, she was a member of the of the DBU Patriettes Dance Team. Since college, she has worked in the event planning and accounting industries.
The Pantego Pride Dance Program consists of two teams - Varsity (9th-12th Grades) and Middle School (6th-8th Grades). The dance teams perform year-round, focusing on numerous dance genres. They perform at all varsity football games, home middle school football games and pep rallies in the fall. The dance teams are featured performers in local Christmas parades, community performances, and PCA Fine Arts @ Christmas. The team also competes in regional competitions and state competitions, perform at select basketball games and wrap up the season with a Spring Show. The Pride team also has social events, such as the Mother / Daughter Tea, My Favorite Things Christmas Party and the End of Year Banquet. The team prides itself on a family atmosphere and a positive team emphasis.
