Entrance Requirements
Early Childhood & PreK
- 18 months old, 2 & 3-year-old classes: age appropriate by September 1
- Pre-K: 4 years old by September 1
- 3-year-olds must be potty-trained
- 18-month-olds must be walking and weaned off their morning nap
- Must be able to drink independently out of a cup
- At least one parent is a believer and Christian church membership/attendance by the family is required
Kindergarten
- Kindergarten: 5 years old by September 1
- Potty-trained
- At least one parent is a believer and Christian church membership/attendance by the family is required
- Positive pastoral family recommendation
Grades 1 – 5
Academic:
- Passing grades in all subjects in an unmodified program for 2 complete, consecutive semesters prior to application
- Work and study habits, if indicated on report card, indicate positive performance
- National Achievement test scores are a minimum of a 5 stanine in Math, Reading, and English
Behavioral:
- No behavioral issues from previous school (e.g. suspension, expulsion, or placement in an alternative school) for 2 complete, consecutive semesters prior to application
- Behavior/conduct marks on report card reflect positive achievement
- Positive teacher and principal recommendations
Spiritual:
- At least one parent is a believer and Christian church membership/attendance by the family is required
- Positive pastoral family recommendation
Grades 6 – 12
Academic:
- Passing grades in all subjects in an unmodified program for 2 complete, consecutive semesters prior to application
- National Achievement test scores are a minimum of the 60th percentile in Math, Reading, and English
Behavioral:
- No behavioral issues from previous school (e.g. suspension, expulsion, or placement in an alternative school) for 2 complete semesters prior to application
- Parent can attest to student being drug and alcohol-free for 1 year prior to application
- Positive Math and English teacher recommendations
- Positive principal recommendation
Spiritual:
- Student (grades 9 - 12) and at least one parent are believers and Christian church membership/attendance by the family and student is required
- Positive pastoral family and positive pastoral student recommendations
