Program Specifics: Area 1: Character Development Students will be challenged to investigate and adopt honorable character traits as defined in scripture. Area 2: Leadership Students will be given opportunities for leadership training with an emphasis on servant leadership. Active involvement in leadership roles will give students an opportunity to practice and develop leadership skills. Area 3: Apologetics Through upper-level Bible courses students will engage in a thorough level of apologetics study. Special “Lunch and Learn” Sessions will focus on special topics in apologetics. Honors program students in consultation with faculty advisors will an all-school apologetics conference. Area 4: Scholarship Advanced Coursework: Students will fulfill the minimum requirements for the honors or distinguished graduation plan Noble Thinkers: In the spirit of Philippians 4:8 students will be challenged to be noble thinkers. “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” Philippians 4:8 Area 5: Service Students will participate in 2 school sponsored mission trips over the 4 years of high school Student will have opportunities to actively serve others and to initiate student service project |
