AIM stands for Activating Inquisitive Minds. AIM is PCA’s Gifted and Talented Program.

Qualified students, who choose to participate, attend the AIM class one day a week. The AIM class is taught by our GT Coordinator, Mrs. Courtney Sanders. The AIM students work on special projects at an advanced level. Problem Based Learning and Multiple Intelligences are the foundation for the AIM projects. /files/Academics/Ellen and Ben Wax Museum.jpg

Test scores, work samples and parent/teacher nominations are collected from March through June each year. The AIM Placement Committee makes final placement decisions in June/July for the following school year.

"Because AIM is only needed by a small percentage of the students funding for AIM does not come out of the general budget. Staffing, curriculum, supplies and technology for AIM are paid by the fees to participate."
