Family oriented PCA is open to qualified students of any race or national origin. PCA strives to be a secure, consistent base for families to learn and grow together.
College Preparatory Classes are designed to encourage students to develop independent study habits, research skills, and academic knowledge which will help them become successful, achieving college students. Advanced Placement (AP) classes are offered at the junior and senior level.
Teacher Certification PCA teachers are required to obtain certification from the Association of Christian Schools International. Additionally, most PCA teachers hold other teaching certificates issued by state and educational organizations. This certificate requires an ongoing professional program of additional teaching courses, plus a program of college-level Bible courses. PCA actively seeks and selects teachers of the highest caliber and personal integrity.
The faculty, administration, and staff are all professing Christians who are active in their churches. Their handling of situations in school is carried out from a Christian perspective. This includes praying with and giving biblical counsel to students.
Exceptional Performance in National Standardized Testing Our students regularly outperform the national averages, based on standardized achievement test scores, of both public and private schools. PCA's complete battery test results are consistently in the 70th to 90th percentiles as compared to the national average of 45th to 65th percentiles. PCA student scores compare with other private school students on an equal or above-level status.
